| I started the trip in Atlanta, GA (Braselton, actually) at the Annual Curve Cowboy Reunion, a motorcycle gathering started around the BMW K1200LT (the bike I ride). It was based at the Chateau Elan Resort, which is just a beautiful place. The first 5 days of my trip were spent here riding, visiting with old friends, making some new ones, and just having a good time. One thing I had kind of forgotten about in the south was the humidity; it was 94 degrees with 80% humidity when I got there! Both the heat and humidity calmed down after a couple of days, but it was brutal there for a bit! |
